As with all YMCA programs, YMCA child care focuses on developing character by challenging people to accept and demonstrate positive values. The YMCA core values are caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Before & After School Child Care
The Ankeny Family YMCA provides before- and after-school child care at the following schools: Ashland Ridge, Crocker, Neveln, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast/East, Terrace and Westwood. Late start Wednesday, after school teen drop in, morning only, afternoon only or morning and afternoon combined care are available. We also offer child care for participants in our program during winter and spring breaks, days when school has been cancelled due to inclement weather and early out days.
