Waukee Family YMCA
Originally built in 2001, the Waukee Family YMCA was built in partnership with the Waukee Community Schools to serve the far western suburbs. In 2009, a new Waukee Family YMCA facility opened. The new facility is 72,500 sq. ft. and will allow the YMCA to better serve the Waukee community.
The Waukee Family YMCA offers child care and day camp programs, aquatics, fitness, youth sports, parent-child programs, teen leaders clubs, and a preschool. The facilities include an indoor family leisure pool (with a water slide), fitness center, aerobics studio, and youth center. Child Watch is available for small children while their parents participate in programs at the facility.
