Spend this summer with your friends at the Ankeny Family YMCA Camps and have a Whirlwind of Summer Fun!! Whether it's going on nature walks or swimming at aquatic centers, getting dirty at Y Camp or making a craft project, you are guaranteed to have a blast! But don’t just take my word for it…

When asked what was his favorite thing about camp, Charlie Hoffman, a Northeast Day Camp 1^st grader last year, stated: "I liked going to the farm with the big funky play ground." Charlie’s mom, Nicole Hoffman, commented: "The Y Summer Camp allows me to feel comfortable with the care and activities my son experiences in the summer. He gets to have a real summer even though his parents work."

When asked how the summer camps have impacted her family, Robyn Johnson stated: "The Summer Camp Program has allowed our children to have some great experiences and to make some super friends when we first moved to the community." She also stated, "With both parents working, the Y Camp is a great way for us to continue to work while knowing our children are in good hands."
