You’ll be a part of an atmosphere built on support, encouragement, motivation and competition that challenges you to develop healthy habits while making the lifestyle changes.
Educational Component: Participants are given the opportunity to learn about exercise (why it is important), nutrition (as it relates to weight loss and health) and behavior changes (discovering how to implement and manage healthy lifestyle changes).
Fitness Component: The physical portion of the program will be geared to the activity level of each individual. Did you know...the best exercise is the one you will do! Therefore, we feel it is important to introduce many different styles and varieties while giving modifications to help reinforce the importance of exercise as it relates to weight loss and overall health.
Competition: The competition is broken down into two categories; individuals and teams. We base the results on the largest percentage of weight loss. Awards TBD once program has started.
Teams: teams are broken down into groups of 5 – 7 participants and meet one time during the week with their trainer. These times are subject to change depending on group size and availability. Each team will have a certified personal trainer as their team captain. Your team will become your family and your source of support for the entire program.
