GIVING FOR THE FUTUREThe Heritage Club is operated to furnish assistance and support to the charitable or educational undertakings of the Y. The endowment’s principal remains intact while the earned income is distributed in full or part to support the work of the association and the YMCA branches. In this way, the Heritage Club’s endowment assets grow through capital appreciation and some interest is distributed for annual use.
The Heritage Club is designed to allow donors to make long term gifts, providing the YMCA with a stable financial base with greater growth potential. Gift options can include will bequests, naming the YMCA as insurance beneficiary, charitable trusts, and outright gifts.
