This community event celebrates Dr. King’s legacy and promotes his message for peace and justice. Proceeds benefit the John R. Grubb Community YMCA’sAnnual Campaign, giving local families access to the Y through financial assistance and supporting enriching programs like Starfish Academy, a summer literacy camp. 150th Anniversary of the YMCA of Greater Des Moines
After the breakfast, we will bring together 200 teenagers for a youth summit, and we anticipate 100 adults for a new leadership summit.
