Parent's Night Out
Spend time with friends, check things off your to-do list, or just enjoy a few hours to yourself with Parent’s Night Out at the Y! We’ll make sure your child is safe, having fun, and learning new things at the Y while you take a well-deserved break! Children will practice motor skills and interact with friends by enjoying playtime, gym time, crafts, games, activities, and a snack.
6 to 9p.m.
$12 per child (members) $24 per child (non-members)

Tae kwon do (taekwondo) is a fun, healthy way to develop flexibility, stamina, balance, coordination, self-discipline and self-defense. The martial art class includes the development of self-confidence, integrity and respect, as well as physical challenges.
“Summer Meal Meet-Ups help our community’s children continue to receive healthy food and activity outside of school, especially during a time when many kids are more isolated,” said Renée Miller, Chief Community Impact Officer at United Way of Central Iowa. “United Way’s OpportUNITY plan to fight poverty has been focused on how we ensure that children and families have access to food as a basic need in order to thrive.”
Meals are available to children 18 and under at the Wellmark YMCA Monday-Friday from 4-6pm and more information can be found here
