The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original bodyweight-based training tool that builds strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. Because every body movement is powered by the torso – the abs and back working together to support the spine during everyday activities – TRX Suspension Training works to build that needed core strength.
There are a variety of TRX classes offered at the YMCA of Greater Des Moines including:
TRX – Abs & Core. This high-intensity class combines the TRX suspension system with various core and cardiovascular activities. Each class will utilize High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and circuits to leave you with a total body workout in only 30 minutes.
TRX-TREME. This high-intensity class combines the TRX suspension system with kettlebell, jump rope and various other strength and cardio components. Each 30-minute total-body workout will add variety to the participant’s routine.
TRX Cardio. TRX Cardio combines the best of fitness training High-intensity cardio paired with TRX strength training will help increase your overall fitness level.
