Dear YMCA Members,

Thank you so much for being part of the YMCA community. We are proud to partner with you on your health and wellness journey. 

We want you to know that effective January 1, 2026, the Y will be applying a 3% transaction fee to all payments made by credit card. 

Credit card processors assess a charge on each transaction made by credit card. In the past, the Y has absorbed these processing charges, but costs have risen dramatically over the past couple years. The transaction fee will help offset some of the increased expenses of handling credit cards. 

The credit card transaction fee will not apply to debit card or ACH (automatic bank draft) transactions. If you would like to check your current payment method and/or make changes to how your payments are handled, you can follow these steps: 

  1. Access your member account at www.dmymca.org.
  2. Click the “My Account” link on the top menu line (next to the Search icon).
  3. Follow the instructions for logging into your account.  This will bring up your Dashboard page. 
  4. Go to the Billing section (bottom center) and you will see your Default payment method listed there, as well as any other payment methods on file. 
  5. Click ADD PAYMENT METHOD to add a new Card or Bank Account or designate a new default for payments. 
  6. Select SAVE to see a green confirmation message: Payment Method Saved!
