Active Older Adults

Exercise looks different as we age. Our Active Older Adults (AOA) classes help those age 55+ improve and maintain fitness while connecting with others.

Classes designed specifically for older adults—including water exercise, gentle yoga, low-impact aerobics, Tai Chi and more—concentrate on improving the functional strength, stability and flexibility used in your day-to-day activities. Most classes are included as part of your membership and are open to SilverSneakers, Silver & Fit and YMCA members. New classes are offered on a regular basis, so check the schedules and give AOA classes a try!

In partnership with Community Health Partners, we're able to address chronic disease and disability in our community through Medical Programming. Our programs help members better understand their health with experts guiding them.
