Introduction to the Y's Cause & Culture Course
This online course is available to take at any time convenient for you and must be completed as part of the new hire checklist.
Workplace Safety Training
All staff are required to take this 30 minute online training.
Child Abuse Prevention Training
All YMCA staff take a yearly, online course on child abuse awareness and prevention to help provide a safe environment for our youth.
Safety & Risk Management Training
Member and staff safety is our highest priority. This course is required by all staff members within 30 days after initial hire date or re-hire date.
Mandatory Reporter Training - Child Abuse Prevention Training
Some staff are required to take this Mandatory Reporter online course.
Bloodborne Pathogen Training
All staff are required to take this online Bloodborne Pathogen Training and remain certified while employed by the Y.
New Certification: CPR, AED for the Professional Rescuer including First Aid (Staff Only)
This American Red Cross Blended Learning course combines online and in-person learning.
Review Certification: CPR, AED for the Professional Rescuer including First Aid (Staff Only)
This in-person course is for Y Staff who hold a current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification or certification expired no more than 30 days.
New Certification: Lifeguard
The American Red Cross Lifeguarding course provides the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatics emergencies.
Lifeguard Certification: Review
Lifeguard Review is for those with a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certifications or certification expired no more than 30 days.
Safety Training for Swim Coaches
This course teaches those involved in competitive swimming how to help maintain a comfortable and safe environment for swimmers.
