We're committed to ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to become a healthy, contributing member of society. We offer activities and programs for teens that provide them with academic assistance, employment opportunities and other life skills, all while having fun.

Ready 515 (Formerly Y Achievers)

Ready 515 is a career, college, and life readiness program that supports youth from 6th grade through 12th grade. We work with youth to develop their unique post-secondary life plans. In partnership with local businesses, we expand access through career exploration, and social/emotional and finically literacy programming. For more information or to get involved, please email yachievers@dmymca.org.

G.R.I.T.

Grubb Role Models In Training is a program that allows middle and high school students, ages 11-18, to create a safe space to develop community, have important conversations, build leadership skills and explore career and educational options after high school. Contact the Grubb Y for more information!

Let’s strengthen character! The Do The Match 247 program is for teens and will cover topics such as respect, etiquette, responsibility, and stereotypes. This is a 6-week program with meetings, connecting, and sharing with recognition and a certificate awarded at the end.
